Admissions Timeline

  • January 29, 2024 – Re-enrollment opens for current families

  • February 12, 2024 – New student application opens

  • March 15, 2024 – All applications and financial aid application due

  • After March 15, 2024 – Applications will be considered on a rolling basis as space allows.

Admissions Process Checklist

STEP 1. Learn about BCA

  • Visit our website : www.BethelClassical.org

  • Attend a Parent Info Meeting

  • Take a school tour

  • Read articles provided by the admissions office to learn more about classical Christian education

STEP 2. Complete an online application.

  • Once you have made the decision to consider joining the BCA family, go to our school website and click on Apply Online to access the application.

  • Create an account and begin your application. Once you begin your application, you will have the flexibility to log-in to your account as needed until your application is ready to submit.

  • Submit your application including the following supporting documents:

    • $22 non-refundable application fee (per student applicant)
    • Proof of California Residency
    • Copy of Student’s Birth Certificate
    • Copy of Student’s two most recent Report Cards (1st – 8th grade applicants)
    • Copy of most recent Standardized Test Scores (3rd – 8th grade applicants)
    • Pastor’s Reference form
  • Applications will be processed and reviewed upon completion.

STEP 3. Financial Aid Application (optional)

  • Access the Financial Aid Application in the application

  • Submit supporting documents

STEP 4. Family Interview

  • Once your submitted application was reviewed, the admissions office will contact you to schedule a family interview.

  • All parents are required to have read the following materials prior to the family interview:
    The BCA Mission & Philosophy and Statement of Faith.

  • The family interview helps us to assess new applicants based on our school’s mission and
    culture. Families are assessed based upon: family support and partnership, understanding of classical Christian education, and alignment of the family’s faith with the school’s statement of faith.

  • This is a great time for you to get to know our school better and to get answers to any questions you might have.

STEP 5. Readiness Observation Day for Kindergarten applicants

  • Kindergarten students attend and participate in Kindergarten Readiness Observation Day.

STEP 6. ASSESSMENT FOR K – 8TH GRADE APPLICANTS

  • K-8th-grade students attend and complete an age-appropriate assessment.

STEP 7. ACCEPTANCE AND ADMITTANCE

  • After the interview, you will be notified of the admissions decision within two weeks of your child’s admissions decision.

STEP 8. Enrollment

  • Finalize your enrollment by indicating your intent to enroll and submit your $350 non-refundable enrollment fee to secure your child’s spot, and submit a signed enrollment contract, tuition contract, set up a tuition payment plan, student record release authorization, and other required documents.

  • Respond within two weeks from the date of the notification letter.
